BREAKING: Patriots reach deal with former Cleveland Browns linebacker

The New England Patriots have signed former Browns linebacker Sione Takitaki, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. It is a two-year, $6.5 million deal with incentives that can potentially increase his earnings to $10 million.

A third-round pick in 2019, Takitaki saw significant involvement in 2023, playing over 600 defensive snaps - the most in his career. He was utilized in various roles, including pass rush and coverage. Takitaki concluded the 2023 season with a 70.8 PFF grade, ranking 28th out of 50 linebackers with a minimum of 600 snaps.
